Are you looking for homes in a particular community?

Below you will find a list of each subdivision (or condo) with real estate on the market in Rockingham. The list below is compiled from active listings today. The list below is updated often to ensure that we're providing accurate information that you can rely on. The information collected below is pulled directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a couple of quirks to be aware of.

You might spot a subdivision listed more than once.

You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) found below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there can be typographical errors. Of course sometimes, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has moved from one subdivision to another when really the error was corrected.

And, there may be some variances as to what exactly a specific community is called. If there is even one letter of difference between a couple of entries this will be tallied separately. Hence, if you really want to get a tally, you should consider all possible variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are by some people called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a for sale sign posted but the subdivision isn't listed below."

Is there a different way to spell this particular community?
Certainly, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all typical variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not include rental properties. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental property. In addition, this tally exclusively includes active listings in Rockingham.
Is the listing in coming-soon status?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some listings that have a sign up that are not active. For example, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. Furthermore, the Multiple Listing Service does not allow us to count those properties in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a specific community, you'll have to email Nesbitt Realty directly.
Is the property under-contract?
Furthermore, from time to time that a listing is already sold or under contract when you see the sign posted. Sold or under-contract riders aren't posted the moment a property settles. Not to mention, sometimes that the Realtor is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you might see a for sale sign up when a property is not active.
