Are you seeking real estate in a particular subdivision?

Below you will see a accounting of every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Linville. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is refreshed every few minutes to ensure that we're supplying accurate information that you may rely on. The data collected below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a couple of tips to keep in mind.

You might spot a subdivision listed more than once.

You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) compiled below were all typed into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a listing has sold when really the error was corrected.

Furthermore, there may be some variances as to what exactly a particular neighborhood is named. If there is even one letter of difference between two entries this will be tallied as different communities. Thus, if you really need to get a picture, you should consider all the variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are by some people entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a for sale sign posted but the subdivision isn't listed below."

Is there another name for this specific neighborhood?
Yes, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This list does not include rental properties. So, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. Furthermore, this tally only includes listings on the market in Linville.
Is the listing under-contract?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some properties that have a sign posted that are not active. For instance, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents can access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. In addition, the MLS database does not permit us to list those listings in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a particular community, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the listing sold?
Also, it happens that a listing is already sold when you spot the for sale up. Sold or under-contract notices aren't posted instantly. Also, it happens that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, it's possible to see a sign up when a listing is not available.
