You might find a school listed more than once.
You should know that the names of the schools collected below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction can make it appear that a different listing is available when really the school spelling was corrected.
Furthermore, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a particular school district is called. If there is even one letter of difference between two entries this will be listed as different school attendance zones. So, when you really want to get a picture, you have to consider all the variations of the school's name.
Question: "I saw a sign posted but the school attenandance zone is not listed below."
Possibly, there is another way to spell the particular school?
Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all possible variations of the spelling.
Consider the possibility that the listing is for lease.
This list
only covers listings still for sale. Not to mention, this list does not include rentals in Washington. So, it may be that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many properties which have a sign posted that are not
active.
The listing may be under-contract.
For example, from time to time a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents can access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. Not to mention, the MLS database does not allow Nesbitt Realty to count those properties in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific subdivision, you'll have to contact us directly.
Maybe, the listing is already under-contract.
Sometimes that a listing is already sold when you spot the for sale posted. Under-contract signs don't go up the moment a property settles. In addition, sometimes that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, it's possible to see a sign up when a listing is not available.
When a specific school district is not listed ...
