For example, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are by some people called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

Is the property for rent?

This tally does not include rental properties. Hence, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental property. Also, this list only includes listings on the market in Rappahannock County.

Is the property in coming-soon status?

An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are quite a few properties that have a sign up that are not active. For instance, from time to time a sign is up because the property is coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. Also, the MLS database does not allow Nesbitt Realty to list those listings in our tally. Is the property under-contract?

Also, sometimes that a listing is already under contract when you see the sign up. Sold or under-contract signs aren't posted the moment a property settles. Not to mention, sometimes that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. Because of these reasons, you might see a sign posted when a property is not available.
