Also, there may be some diffence of opinion as to what exactly a particular community is named. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be listed separately. Hence, when you really need to get a picture, you should consider all the variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are at times entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you watch out for all typical variations of the name.

Is the listing for rent?

This tally does not cover rental properties. So, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental property. Furthermore, this tally only includes listings on the market in Kingstowne.

Is the listing under-contract?

An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are quite a few listings that have a sign posted that are not active. For example, from time to time a for sale is posted because the property is coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet on the market.
