Are you seeking homes in a specific community?

Below you will see a list of each subdivision (or condo) with listings in Tysons Corner. The list below is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is refreshed every 15 minutes or so to make sure that we're supplying fresh data that you may depend on. The tallies collected below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are some quirks to keep in mind.

You may spot a subdivision listed more than once.

Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) found below were all entered into the MLS database by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there will be spelling errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has sold when actually the listing was updated.

Also, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a specific subdivision is named. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be listed as different communities. Thus, when you really need to get a count, you have to look at all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are sometimes known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a sign posted but the community isn't listed below."

Is there another name for this particular community?
Naturally, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all typical variations of the spelling.
Is the property for rent?
This list does not include rental properties. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. Also, this list exclusively covers listings on the market in Tysons Corner.
Is the property in coming-soon status?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few properties which have a sign posted that are not active. For example, from time to time a sign is up because the property is coming soon. A property that is in coming-soon status is not yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. And, the MLS database does not permit Nesbitt Realty to include those properties in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific community, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the property under-contract?
Not to mention, sometimes that a listing is already sold or under contract when you see the for sale up. Sold or under-contract notices aren't posted instantly. Not to mention, sometimes that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, it's possible to see a for sale sign up when a listing is not available.

The arrows at the header below are useful for arranging the neighborhoods. But, when you arrange by number of active listings, just remember the tips above, because the number isn't completely true. Of course, the list is still pretty accurate.
