Listed below you will see an exhaustive list of each subdivision (or condo) with listings in Crystal City. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. The list below is refreshed every 15 minutes or so to make sure that we're providing fresh tallies which you can rely on. The information found below is taken directly from the MLS database, so there are a couple of tips to be aware of.
You might spot a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) compiled below were all typed into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there may be spelling errors. Later, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has moved from one subdivision to another when in reality the spelling on a listing was changed.
Also, there may be some dispute as to what exactly a specific neighborhood is called. If there is even one character of difference between a couple of entries this will be tallied separately. Thus, when you really need to get a clear picture, you should consider all the variations of the community's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are at times entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign up but the subdivision isn't listed below."
Is there another name for this specific community?
Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you watch out for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not cover rentals. Therefore, it may be that the sign you saw posted was for a rental property. And, this list only
includes listings still for sale in Crystal City.
Is the property not yet active?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are many properties which have a sign up that are not active
For example, from time to time a sign is posted because the property is coming soon
. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not yet
available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. Not to mention, the Multiple Listing Service does not allow us to count those properties in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon real estate in a specific community, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the property under-contract?
In addition, from time to time that a listing is already sold or under contract
when you spot the sign up. Sold riders don't go up instantly. In addition, from time to time that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you might see a for sale sign posted when a listing is not available.
Do you need prompt updates from a specific community?

You can sort the list by number or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for sorting the subdivisions. Nevertheless, when you organize by number of active listings, just remember the tips above, because those tallies aren't always accurate. Of course, the list is still useful.
