Listed below you will find a accounting of each and every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Del Ray. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. The list below is revised often to make sure that we're supplying accurate information that you can rely on. The data compiled below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are a few tips to keep in mind.
You may find a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) found below were all entered into the MLS database by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there will be spelling errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has been listed when in reality the spelling on a listing was changed.
Furthermore, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a specific neighborhood is called. If there is even one letter of difference between a couple of entries this will be listed separately. Hence, if you really want to get a picture, you should consider all possible variations of the subdivision's name. Case in point, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are sometimes called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign posted but the community isn't listed below."
Is there a different way to spell this specific community?
As might be expected, for the reason stated above, try to you watch out for all possible variations of the name.
Is the property for lease?
This list does not include rentals. So, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental property. And, this list
exclusively covers listings still for sale in Del Ray.
Is the listing coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many properties which have a sign posted that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about properties that are coming-soon. Also, the MLS database does not permit us to list those properties in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a particular community, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the listing sold?
In addition, it happens that a listing is already sold or
under contract when you see the sign posted. Sold or under-contract notices aren't posted the second a contract is signed. Also, sometimes that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you might see a for sale sign posted when a property is not active.
