The world’s leader of natural and organic foods, Whole Foods began in 1980 as a small shop with 19 employees in Austin Texas, with now over 270 stores throughout North America and the U.K. Whole Foods offers quality, least processed natural foods without sweeteners, preservatives and colorings, while paying forward with contributions from each store to food banks, local non profit organizations and events.
Whole Foods began their journey to success by John Mackey and Renee Lawson Hardy of Safer Way Natural Foods and Craig Weller and Mark Silers of Clarksville Natural Grocery. Expansion of Whole Foods commenced in 1984 with stores opening in the West Coast in 1989. In 2002, Whole Foods reached Canada and the U.K in 2004.

The Birchmere is committed to the presentation of the highest quality music in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. And thus there are a few simple rules:
Silence is requested while the performers are on stage.
You must remain seated during the performance (Unless the dance floor is set up).
No audio recording is permitted.
No video recording is permitted.
No Cameras are allowed.

Eamon's Fish and Chips
Eamon's is located on King Street in Old Town Alexandria. Eamon's serves up an authentic Irish fried fish and chips with your selection of beers.
You don't need a passport, but you'll feel like you've made a trip to Ireland from the moment you step in the door. There are a variety of sauces available for fish dipping, and we really recommend the curry flavor.
The fireplace and dark woods feel very Old Town and very Irish at the same time. Eamon's is also set up to encourage you to get to know your neighbor and when that's not possible, you can just people watch from the big windows of the restaurant.
