Enjoy English Country Dancing at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum Fall Harvest Ball

The Gadsby's Tavern Museum will be hosting its Fall Harvest Ball on November 9th from 8pm - 11pm. The event will give guests the experience of 1770s style ball with live music, English Country Dancing, Cash Bar and seasonal dessert collation. Guests are welcomed to wear 1770s attire or cocktail attire. The Museum will offer Fall Harvest Ball dance classes to all attendees leading to the event. Experience Hands on Art Activities At The Annual Art Safari In Alexandria

The Annual Art Safari will be held on October 19th from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Torpedo Factory Center. The event which is an Alexandria tradition for almost a quarter century will feature a full day of hands on activities for kids and their families. Kids will be engaged in exciting and creative projects lead by dozens of artists. The event is perfect for kids ages 5 years and up. Tour Historical Homes At The Twig’s 78th Historic Alexandria Homes Tour

The Twig's 78th Historic Annual Alexandria Homes Tour will take place on September 28th from 10 am to 3 pm in Old Town Alexandria. The walking tour will feature several of Alexandria's finest 18th and early 19th century homes located in Old Town. Patrons will learn the historic pasts of these homes and learn more about the community and its evolution as a vibrant, livable community.
