The Capital Craft Fairs is making its Northern Virginia debut in October, looking to continue the tradition of the region’s arts and crafts festival. The Capital Craft Fairs’ first-weekend show will be on Oct. 16-18 at the Dulles Expo Center, with times varying throughout the weekend. Chantilly’s Juanita Brill Celebrates 100th Birthday

Chantilly’s Juanita Brill celebrated her 100th birthday on June 19 with her family and balloons. Brill was born and raised in Arkansas. She moved to Washington, D.C., during WWII. After the war, she met and married Russell Brill, and they raised their family in Silver Spring, Md. Juanita now lives in Chantilly. Continue reading
