Ronald Ginyard is a retired USMC Master Sergeant. He was an active duty Marine for 22 years of service where he worked in the field of telecommunications and information systems and ultimately a Communications Chief. During his active duty career Ron spent two and a half years as a canvassing recruiter and 3 years managing those assigned to recruiting duty.
Ronald became a licensed agent in Virginia in 1995. As when he was a Marine he dedicated himself to providing the utmost professional and ethical service. Ronald is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). As a CDPE he educates and supports those who are faced with possible foreclosure or short sales. He can also help buyers who want to capitalize on the opportunities presented by distressed properties.
Ron is also certified as a Military Relocation Professional. This means he has receive specialized training about military transfers and working with the military benefit system to maximize the opportunities in housing choices for military and retired military personnel.
For more than twenty years, Ronald has been a resident of Northern Virginia. For a while he lived in Prince William County / Woodbridge, but he moved to the City of Alexandria in 2002. Ron loves living in Alexandria near Old Town where he enjoys easy access to DC and recreational activities in Mount Vernon.
In his spare time, Ron enjoys movies and reading. His favorite sport is basketball, perhaps in part because he's a proud father of two boys with basketball careers. One of his sons is a high school basketball coach and the other plays professionally in Europe.
