Fairfax County, Virginia - Green Spring is one of the Washington area's premier gardens. The FROGS tell us that Green Springs Garden's unique geology once supported a rare magnolia bog plant community. Green Spring at times produced tobacco, tree fruit, livestock and distilled spirits. The foundation of the park is a 1784 historic house that witnessed the Civil War and eras of both care and neglect before its restoration in the mid-20th century. Both humble and notable personalities have gathered there where you still can enjoy tea. Learn more about Green Springs Gardens by visiting and consider donating to the FROGS!
