80th Anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope-Leighey House

On July 12th, annual Frank Lloyd Wright’s birthday picnic will be virtually celebrated along with the 80th anniversary year of the Pope-Leighey House. This mid-century cocktail party fundraiser for the historic site is expected to be as fun as the real thing.  This way, you don’t have to worry about the weather. As per fxva.com, "Festivities will include:

• Pope-Leighey House and Frank Lloyd Wright-themed trivia
• a cake decorating contest for professionals AND amateurs (enter below)
• a live cocktail class featuring TWO mid-century cocktails
• a costume contest - dress up in your favorite mid-century outfit -top half only is just fine! -and show it to us that evening! The winner will be contacted the following week.
• the auction of a handcrafted bench just like the one outside Pope-Leighey House with its beautiful, unique to Pope-Leighey, clerestory window detail! …and more.
