Local Business In Alexandria Donates Face Masks To Community Service Organizations

Yates Dry Cleaning, a local all natural environmentally conscious business is playng their part in the fight against COVID 19 in Alexandria by making and donating face masks to community service organizations.

The dry cleaning business has produced masks in several different colors which are 100% cotton and machine washable. The business has teamed up with Living Legend Gayle Reuter and the Alexandria Sheriff’s Department to distribute masks to the non profits that serve the elderly and the poor. Volunteers in organizations that benefit from the donation include Senior Service of Alexandria, ALIVE, Carpenters’ Shelter, Casa Chirilagua and Grace Episcopal Food Bank.

Yates Dry Cleaning has also donated masks to residents who have been diagnosed with the coronavirus or were surrounded by those who have been diagnosed and in need of masks.
