The nation's largest and oldest multi service organization for visual artists , The Art League will now be offering online classes to all residents of Alexandria.
The online classes will be conducted via Zoom and teachers can be consulted using Google Classroom. The classes will include drawing and stitching with new classes to be added on a regular basis. Furloughed or front line workers will be offered scholarships if they wish to participate in the program. Director of The Art League School Kathi Cohen states that the "online course will give people a chance to try something new at home and allow students to touch base with their creative community during an isolated time."
The classes are available for beginners to advanced artists.
