4 Parks With Spraygrounds In Arlington, Va

Arlington is home to four free spraygrounds which open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend and help cool you off during the hot, summer months.

The sprayground at Hayes Park

Drew Park–2310 S Kenmore

Located next to Charles Drew Community Center, this park includes a splash pad and other great outdoor features. The spray pad offers a variety of unique sprayers including an umbrella, tunnel, as well as a tall flower soaker that shoots water on different intervals which keeps the kids guessing where they will get soaked from next. The park also has a playground, basketball courts, and softball fields for the whole family to enjoy.

Virginia Highlands Park–1600 S Hayes Street

With water cannon, mini waterfalls, and dumping buckets, this colorful sprayground is sure to delight children of all ages. It is also located next to baseball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts to ensure that everyone in the family enjoys themselves.

Hayes Park–1516 N Lincoln St

In this three-acre park, you’ll find a space-themed sprayground as well as tennis and basketball. The park also has a playground and covered picnic shelter so you can enjoy a day out with your family.

Lyon Village Park–1800 N Highland St

The sprayground in this two-acre fenced-in park has some colorful splash pads and dumping buckets. Pack a picnic basket and some water gear and enjoy a day in this great outdoor destination. There’s also some tennis and basketball courts in the park.
