Spring2ACTion has decided to host its annual fundraiser on April 15 2020 instead of April 29 2020. The move to host the fundraiser at a earlier date stems from the immediate and urgent needs of the Alexandria community in response to COVID-19.
Spring2ACTion also known as Alexandria Giving Day is an online 24 hour online service that calls on individuals to make a difference in the community. The event will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The COVID-19 outbreak has caused a financial impact on small businesses and non profits and Spring2ACTion will be using this year's fundraiser to raise raise critical funds needed to assist these organizations in purchases supplies, paying and re-configuring programs and services.
ACT for Alexandria is seeking to raise $2.2 million through their engagement of 10,000 donors.
