West End Alexandria is slowly becoming the place for all fitness enthusiasts as a new fitness center is set to make its opening in summer. E60 Fitness is making plans to open in the new mixed use development at King and North Beauregard streets. The new 3200 square feet center will offer high intensity interval training HIIT/circuit training style group exercise program which will incorporate several exercise disciplines for a well rounded and effective workout. The exercise programs will include a variety of functional, cardio and strength equipment along with hear rate monitoring technology which will visualize effort of the individual in real time. Certified fitness experts are available on location for assistance. E60 is already located in Arlington and was founded by former athlete and fitness enthusiast Doug Frantzen.
