U.S. Army Soldiers To Get Assistance With Army Combat Fitness Test

Members of the U.S. Army will be getting assistance from fitness center Sand & Steel Fitness to pass the new Army Combat Fitness Test. The new Army Combat Fitness Test is mandatory for all members of the military including women and older soldiers. The test comprises of 6 fitness events which will test multiple aspects of fitness. These tests will replicate activities that are useful to a soldier when they are deployed.

Sand & Steel Fitness will be providing a free 2 hour ACFT workshop on March 28 which will teach the soldiers how to safely and effectively train to pass the test. The ACFT workshop is an improved training guide and workout plan that was initially documentation by the U.S. Army. Sand & Steel will also be offering the new training plan for residents who which to use it as a benchmark for their personal fitness.
