Call.Click.Connect Service To Be Replaced With ALEX311

The City of Alexandria has launched a new customer service initiative which will replace the existing Call.Click.Connect. The new service will connect customers to more than 175 City services in a variety of convenient ways. City Manager Mark Jinks has stated that "Alex311 provides customers with more convenient ways to contact the city, more consistent updates on the status of requests and a renewed commitment to providing excellent service every time". Alex311 gives residents the option of using web, mobile app, social media and phone to submit their requests for information. They will have the ability to attach photos and specify the location of the service request online. Residents are still required to call or text 911 for immediate police, fire or emergency medical assistance.
