Check Out Bennett Park Art Atrium In Rosslyn

If you are an art lover, the atrium at Bennett Park may interest you.
Bennett Park Art Atrium
Located on the ground floor of the Bennett Park Apartments at 1601 Clarendon Blvd, the Bennett Park Art Atrium is a pubic art gallery that provides some unique and interesting art pieces. The gallery was provided as a community benefit by the developer Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT) and offers a space for art lovers to come and admire art from regional artists. The main art is some cloud-like pieces by Kendall Buster. The suspended sculptures are made of an intricate metal framework over which greenhouse shade cloth has been stretched. They flow between the courtyard columns and resemble low-lying, billowing clouds. There's also a 15-foot tall sculpture(Aya) by Foon Sham that twists upward to resemble a faceted tower and an open-armature sculpture by Wendy Ross which is part of a series inspired by tiny marine protozoa called radiolaria. The Bennett Park Art Atrium is free and open to the public on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can just come and grab a chair, admire the art, read a book or work in this peaceful space. The space is also available for rent for special events.
