The Animal Welfare League Of Alexandria and Ballyshaners will be hosting its most festive animal event of the season - the Annual Fun Dog Show. The event will be held on March 7 2020 after the hosting of the annual St Patrick's Day parade. The dog show will be held at Market Square in Old Town and it will feature pups from across Alexandria donning their favorite costumes to compete for titles including "Most St. Paddy's Spirit," "Best Human/Canine Look-Alike" and "Most Creative Costume". Vendors and animal friendly exhibitors will be on site to showcase animal toys and treats to participants and their fellow canine friends. All residents are invited to attend however only dogs are allowed at the Fun Dog Show.
