Heatherlea is a condo community nestled between the Fairlington and Shirlington neighborhoods of Arlington.
Built in 1982, the Heatherlea community is comprised of 25 townhouses and 160 garden-style condos surrounded by lush landscaping and mature trees. Each living option comes in various floor plans with ranging from 673 to 1,140 square feet of living space. The townhomes offer two-bedrooms and anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 baths, as well as private patios or terraces, and generously sized kitchens with greenhouse windows to let in more light. The condos, on the other hand, have up to two bedrooms, cathedral ceilings, and either balconies, patios, or terraces.
Residents at the Heatherlea community enjoy amenities such as a community pool and reserved off-street parking. For outdoor activities, the residents go to nearby Four Mile Run for a walk or jog, Allie S. Freed Park for sports and games, and Shirlington Dog Park to take their furry friends to play. Heatherlea is also within walking distance to various other conveniences in nearby Shirlington including Harris Teeter grocery store, Arlington Public Library, Signature Theater, and a variety of restaurants. Public school students at Heatherlee attend Abingdon Elementary, Gunston Middle, and Wakefield High School.
Located at Walter Reed Drive South, Heatherlee offers easy access to the Metro bus, as well as I-395 and other major transportation routes.
