Claremont community is roughly bounded by South Four Mile Run Drive on the north, South Walter Reed Drive on the east, Virginia Route 7/King Street on the south and South George Mason Drive on the west. Although not near the metro, commuters at Claremont have access to Rapid Transit buses to transport them to Pentagon and Pentagon City Metro stations on the blue and yellow lines. Public schools that serve the Claremont community include Abingdon Elementary, Gunston Middle, and Wakefield High schools.
