Senior Citizens Housing Proposed For Old Town North

Senior Citizens in Alexandria will soon have a luxurious housing development in Old Town North. The building which is proposed for development at 1112 First Street will be a multi family apartment building for people age 62 and older.

The proposed six stories high building will feature 133 units with one or two bedrooms. The building will also feature a ground floor restaurant and a range of amenities including full time housekeepers, a driver, activities director, fitness center, hair/nail salon and spa, art studio, theater, library, meeting and game rooms and an outdoor patio. Braddock Road Metro Station is only an eight minute walk from the development.

The development will be handled by Bonaventure Realty Group of Shirlington Village, Engineering company Walter Phillips and architect J. Price Architecture.
