A Quick Look At Fort Myer Heights Park In Rosslyn

Fort Myer Height Park is a 0.87- acre park with an updated playground, a half basketball court, a picnic area, and an open grass area.
Fort Myer Heights Park
Located at 1400 Fort Myer Dr, in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, this small park attracts local families who bring their kids here to burn off some energy. The playground at Fort Myer Height is completely fenced in and well-shaded and has a unique woodland theme so all of the play structures look like logs/trees and there are even some fake owl and squirrel faces carved into them. There is a play section for 2-5-year-olds with 2 slides, a baby swing and regular swing, a little climb-through tunnel, and a sandbox with a push-button water faucet that's great for rinsing off sandy feet and hands or for adding to dry sand to make sandcastles. Then there is another play section for older kids of between 6-12 years on a raised area of the playground with a larger slide and climbing apparatus.
