Nesbitt Realty & Management examines the prospective renter’s past behavior. With that in mind, our team assumes the applicant’s future behavior will be similar. The applicant should demonstrate a history of being a honest, stable renter and also meeting our financial criteria. Our background checking process is founded on several elements including:

  • Criminal Record & Evictions – Nesbitt knows it's necessary to know the criminal and public court records of the applicant on every investment home in 22314 in the City of Alexandria. Owners should be aware that the majority of other managing agents do not check out court records.
  • Credit History – The possible lessee's credit history informs us about the possible renter’s current and past performance in scored record of the possible renter's ability to repay debts and demonstrated responsibility in repaying debts. The possible renter’s credit report also tells us their monthly debt and shows their previous addresses (which we compare to addresses listed on the application). An applicant must have acceptable credit to qualify.
