The Alexandria Kinderchoir, the city's only community choir in collaboration with Convergence, Upcycle, Great Harvest Bread Company and Trader Joe's will be hosting its 5th Annual Lantern Night on November 7th starting at 5 pm at 1801 North Quaker Lane Alexandria.
Lantern Night which started as the Del Ray Lantern Walk in 2014 is held annually to mark the end of daylight saving time and days start becoming shorter. Guests to the event can bring their handmade lanterns for the performance before a sing-a-long and circle dancing under the stars. Donations will be collected for the Center for Alexandria's Children, a non profit organization which supports young victims of abuse.
