Rocky Run Park is a partially-fenced two-acre park located in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, VA.
My kid and I visited the park one afternoon and found the place crawling with kids of different ages. There were two playgrounds that were well-shaded and fully equiped with fun playing items. One part of the playground had big-kids play structures including a complex "spider web" structure that allow children to climb from one part to the other then go down a big slide. The part also has two dish-shaped swings and spinners. The younger kids area features four bucket swings, small climbing structures with a slide, and a sandbox with water.
Other than the playground, the Rocky Run park has two basketball courts, a drop-in artificial turf field, and a paved path suitable for scooters. The picnic shelter which is between the two playgrounds has numerous benches and three rectangular tables.
Rocky Run Park is located at 1109 N Barton St, and offers on-street parking both metered and free.
