Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month With Terps At Inca Social, Vienna

National Hispanic Heritage Month will be celebrated at the Inca Social 2670 Avenir Place, Suite I, Vienna, VA on September 30, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. People are encouraged to join for Happy Hour and enjoy an extended happy hour for Terps as well as sample appetizers at the hottest, new Peruvian destination in Dunn Loring. Hispanic Heritage Month observations started in the 1960s under President Lyndon Johnson. Later in 1988, President Ronald Reagan expanded the occasion into its current 30-day expanse, which officially runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The significance of these dates is that they coincide with independence days and anniversaries for several Latin American countries. New Chef Michael Ciuffardi Mackey was recently featured on 8/23 in the Washington Hispanic. At only 31 years old, he’s worked at restaurants in Argentina and Chile. On Mondays in September, Linda Saenz, owner of Class Dance Company will teach Salsa and Bachata for free. Don’t miss out this chance to learn new dance skills. Networks will provide appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks. Metro parking is available for the event. This event is co-hosted by the Northern Virginia Alumni Network and Latinx Alumni Network.
