Beach Park is a 1.42 acres neighborhood park located at 201 Rucker Place in Alexandria. In the early 1970s the park was named in the honor of school principal Lillian Beach and has since been adopted by the Rosemont Citizens' Association. The park features an open lawn area with seating and a playground for the kids with a slope which is used for sledding during the winter months. It is home to many oak trees, maple trees, dogwoods and locust trees. The park is a popular place for residents of the area to meet and socialize and it is the venue for the hosting of annual Rosemont Citizens Association events.
