The City of Alexandria will come alive on July 20 2019 as the Annual Tons Of Truck event takes place at Chinquapin Park and Forest Park, 3210 King Street Alexandria. The event will take place 10 am to 1 pm and will feature over 20 City vehicles on display. Patrons at the event will get the opportunity to explore and get behind the wheel of fire trucks, front end loader, dump truck, bucket truck, trash truck as well as bus and police cars. Persons can meet and greet with the personnel who have built and maintained the vehicles. Other activities at the event will include food truck vendors, giveaways, photo opportunities, book readings and art project with the City's Mobile Art Lab. Parking is available.
