Every day, Nesbitt Realty prepares written leases for owners with places in the counties of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Falls Church as a part of our rental management service. Creating the lease is one of the most critical aspects of any solid managing agent in Northern Virginia.
Of course, you’re probably already aware that all of our rental contracts are in writing. The rental contract Nesbitt Realty uses was written by staff attorneys at the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. Our tiny real estate business just changes details like the rates, the association information and so forth.
Leases frequently have a one-year term. Longer leases are on rare occasions approved and only after discussions with the investor. With the owner’s approval—especially during slower rental periods—Nesbitt Realty and Management makes rental contracts for less than one year. Most usually property owners accept longer or shorter leases to have the rental contract expire during a more active rental period. Nesbitt Realty will once in a blue moon work to place a tenant on a month-to-month or short-term lease to accommodate the sale of the home by the owner, a tenant’s pending departure, or moving the rental into a more active rental period.
For a complete break-down our process, email Stuart Nesbitt or read more here. Nesbitt Realty has these necessary associations: Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, Better Business Bureau, and more. Nesbitt also identifies renters through relocation networks and other methods. To learn more about the full list of what we do, contact an agent today.
