Beverly Park is a 1.74 acres lot located at 620 North Overlook Drive in Alexandria 22305. The park which is known as 'the pit' was officially opened in June 1943 and was adopted by the North Ridge Citizens Association. The facility features a hard court play area, a playground with park shelter, picnic tables, sitting areas and wooded nature area.
The playground is the main feature of the park and it consists of two main play structures. The first structure has a cargo net, monkey bars, climbers, zip line slider, balance jumper and slides. The second structure has ladders, corkscrew climber, rock climbing wall and a cargo chain with suspension bridge. There is a large sandbox which is full of bulldozers and a small playhouse for the toddlers to keep active while enjoying themselves. Beverly Park is the perfect place for the kids due to its kids friendly structures and play area.
