The Institute for Defense Analyses will soon acquire the funds for its long awaited Potomac Yard Headquarters. The Alexandria City Council has approved the issuance of up to $249.4 million in Industrial Development Authority for the acquisition, construction and furnishings of the new headquarters to be located at 701 E. Glebe Road. The new headquarters will comprise of two six story towers over a two story base along with two stories of below grade parking.
The Institute for Defense Analyses is a federal funded, non-profit research organization. The organization operates three (3) federally funded Research and Development Centers: the Systems and Analyses Center, The Science and Technology Policy Institute and the Center for Communications and Computing.
