Leases typically have a one-year term. Longer leases are infrequently approved and only after discussions with the landlord. Nesbitt Realty will on rare occasions work to place a tenant on a month-to-month or short-term lease to accommodate sale of the home by the investor, a tenant’s pending departure, or moving the rental property into a more active rental period.
