When Coughing Up $565,000 For A 3-BR Home In Alexandria, Is It Difficult To Love Your Neighbor As You Love Yourself?

Photo of 6632 Frost Lake Ln When you're deliberating the possibility of buying a property in Alexandria, Virginia, can you get the townhouse that you need but—at the same time—treat the seller as you would want to be treated? As a Realtor, I pledged to act fairly towards all in the spirit of the Golden Rule, but Realtor or not, it's something that I have practiced through-out my lifetime in both business and personal matters. But how does that apply to a seller when you're buying real estate? It doesn't mean that you have to get 3-bedroom home when you need one more bedroom. It doesn't mean that you have to be a chump. But it does mean that: We investigate before we buy and whenever possible before we even make an offer. We always remember the seller is entitled to the same level of humanity, dignity, and sense of fairness as I expect for my buyer client. I believe the Golden Rule transcends divisions of class, status, or race. If you're townhouses spending $565,000 and you're residences property in Fairfax County, here are a number of of my ideas.
Some may call me old fashioned, but I believe in the Golden Rule.
