With that in mind, this post isn't about this real estate in Sequoyah. I'm writing about the elements I like Alexandria. I can think of quite several features to love Alexandria. Here are several of those facets.
There are numerous walking and biking trails that weave though historic places, natural settings and urban environments.
Winter in Alexandria is as cold as Michigan. Summer in Alexandria is as hot as Miami. The blossoms of Spring are gorgeous as is the change of leaves in Fall. I really love the change in seasons.
Belle Haven Marina, just south of Old Town, is a great place to jog, walk or fish. The nearby Dyke Marsh has very interesting trails.
As a tribute to our first president, George Washington, the Masonic Memorial was created. The memorial looks like the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. With 9 floors in the edifice, it is a fun and educational place to visit.
