The most compatible real estate professional for you might not look like the typical real estate agent, and is not always the one with the most sales under his or her belt. The most suitable real estate agent for you has the accomplishments and tools to address your unique situation, and is one who listens to you.
No two purchasers want the same things from a home. Some buyer clients don’t mind a longer commute to get more than 1,320 sqft of place of residence. Some purchasers want storage space. Some home buyers need 2 bedrooms. Just like property hunters, Realtors have different attention to detail and skills.
Here’s my guidance for hunting for the right Realtor for you when you’re purchasing in 22181:
- Check out Realtor referrals. — I like Angie’s List because I know that Angie’s List voice verifies each review. You can also see if the agent or brokerage has any awards for client satisfaction.
- Take a minute to talk to a couple of real estate professionals — The Realtor should have time to interface to you. If you pick the most popular agent in Acadia, you might find yourself working with a junior associate affiliated with that real estate agent. You don’t have to exhaust yourself interviewing agent after agent, but at least talk with two or three to see who you’re most comfortable with.
