When buying a home, should the property hunter sincerely think about buying actions affect others, including the seller?
I've always practiced the Golden Rule in my personal life, but when I became a Realtor, I also pledged to apply the Golden Rule to all my business dealings. But what does that mean when you're talking about purchasing real estate in the City of Alexandria? It doesn't mean that you shouldn't quibble over important details. It doesn't mean that you have to pick up 1-bedroom home when you need one more bedroom. But it does mean that:
We never make promises we don't intend to keep. We never want to argue or yell. If there is no possibility for agreement, it's time to move on—without hurt feelings.
I like when people treat me nicely and I want to treat people nicely. Each day, I check the MLS to see what is listed. Here's what I found compelling this morning.
