When you're thinking about purchasing a house like 1418 Queen St in Arlington County, can you get the home that you need but—at the same time—treat the seller as you would want to be treated?
When I became a Realtor, I agreed to adhere to a Code of Ethics and one part of that code is the Golden Rule: treat others as you wish to be treated. But what does that mean when you're talking about buying real estate in Arlington County? It doesn't mean that you can't expect the best from your agent. It doesn't mean you have to buy home with a garage, if you don't need or want a garage. But it does mean that:
If we're not interested, we say we're not interested and then move on. We always remember the seller is entitled to the same level of humanity, dignity, and sense of fairness as I expect for my buyer client. I believe the Golden Rule transcends divisions of class, status, or race.
If the idea of following the Golden Rule appeals to you, I'd love the opportunity to be of service. If you're in the market, please take a look at these suggestions.
