But putting that aside, this post isn’t about this Colonial-style home in 22153. Instead, this is concerning some of the reasons I’m proud to help buyers in Springfield VA. I’d like to point out a few aspects of Springfield life that locals enjoy:
- Arlington has a great plan. City planners have located high-rises in close proximity to metro stations and shops and restaurants to create a metropolitan walkable stretch from Ballston to Rosslyn. At the same time, Arlington has preserved quiet residential neighborhoods to get a great urban mix.
- Because Springfield is just outside of the Beltway, that means that residents here have easier access to larger retailers and shopping at places like Potomac Mills.
- Bowen McCauley Dance is a contemporary dance company and school based in Arlington. It’s one of the many touches of culture that I love about Arlington VA.
- Springfield host several Farmer’s Markets, including one at the Springfield Mall.
