When you're shopping houses in Fairfax County, should the buyer imagine his/herself in the exact place of the seller?
We’re all familiar with the Golden Rule: “Treat others as you wish to be treated.” And, the best of my ability, I try to do this. But how does that apply to a seller when you're buying real estate? It doesn't mean that a buyer in Fairfax County needs to take every representation on faith. It doesn't mean that you have to be a chump. But it does mean that:
We never want to argue or yell. If there is no possibility for agreement, it's time to move on—without hurt feelings. We don't hang up on people. We pick up when we can. If we miss a call, we return a call.
