Is It Possible To Love Yourself And Love The Seller When Spending $285,000 For A House In Fairfax County?

When you're thinking about purchasing a house in 22303, should you as a buyer pause to consider the transaction from the seller's point of view? Photo of 5521 Halwis St We’re all familiar with the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I try to live by this maxim. But how does that apply to a seller when you're buying real estate? It doesn't mean that you need to be stupid. It doesn't mean that you need to buy a home in Herndon when you want a home in Alexandria. But it does mean that: We always remember the seller is entitled to the same level of humanity, dignity, and sense of fairness as I expect for my buyer client. I believe the Golden Rule transcends divisions of class, status, or race. We're not interested in wasting the seller's time or the listing agent's time.
