Some “Internet-based” companies offer a buyer’s rebate, but did you know that you can save money on your purchase and still work with a small business that appreciates your patronage? A seller pays a commission to sell his property. The buyer doesn’t pay his Realtor because the commission is paid by the seller.

The buyer doesn’t pay a commission, but the buyer’s Realtor still gets paid. At settlement, the seller usually pays the buyer’s company 2% to 3% of the sales price. (This amount was negotiated when the property was listed.) Buyers that use Stuart Nesbitt as an agent to buy a home, can expect a portion of the commission to be rebated back at closing. The details of this offer are spelled out in your representation agreement but you can discuss your options with Stuart Nesbitt by calling (703)765-0300.
