Eugene Simpson Stadium Park is located at 426 East Monroe Avenue in Del Ray Alexandria. The park is a 9.94 acres open area which connects various points of the Del Ray neighborhood. Outdoor Volleyball is Fun in Old Town

Old Town Alexandria has several parks next to the water. During the summer time pick up volleyball games happen often. Along Union St. there are parks that have a dog park, trails, a basketball court, a playground, and plenty of green grass . These parks are a great resource within walking distance of several neighborhoods. Condominiums near the volleyball courts include Alexandria House and Port Royal and Old Town Commons. Old Town is a very walkable area. Grocery stores in the area include Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods.The nearest metro to the parks is King Street metro station.

West Grove Dog Park is Awesome

West Grove Dog Park has two fields that are frequented by dogs and their owners. West Grove Dog Park is near the Parkway and Belle View Shopping Center. West Grove Dog Park even has benches to sit on while watching my dog play with other dogs at the dog park. Nearby pet stores on the Highway are Petco, PetSmart, and ProFeed in Belle View Shopping Center.
