That said, this article isn't about this pied-a-terre in Townes of Burke. Rather, I'd like to focus on the features I love Burke Virginia. From the top of my head:

We look forward to the Burke Center Festival. It's a a huge event with arts & crafts, karaoke, emergency preparedness displays, live bands, dance and other entertainment. There are of course food vendors, but also interactive puppet and wildlife shows, amusement rides, pony rides, hypnotist show. There is a basketball toss, Midway-style games, giveaways and drawings, not to mention an after-hours wine garden. Fun for all!
Burke Center Conservancy has over 1700 acres with 30 miles of paths.
Much of Burke is a planned community and this means that the neighborhoods just seem to work well together.
Burke Lake Park has paths around the lake. Pohick Stream Valley Trail is another great option for getting some exercise. Mason Neck Park and Fountain Head Regional Park are also close by.
