With that in mind, this article isn’t about this townhouse at 5484 Mersea Ct. Rather, this article is written to focus on good ole Burke VA. There’s a lot to love about Burke—more than will fit in this article, but here’s a number of reasons I love living here:
- Despite being just outside the Beltway, Burke can seem pretty serene.
- Much of Burke is a planned community and this means that the neighborhoods just seem to work well together.
- Despite it’s bucolic atmosphere, Burke is dotted with neighborhood shopping centers so that grocers and conveniences of life are always nearby.
- Burke has very little traffic or few congested roads because Burke has very little “cut-through” traffic. Many residents live on cul-de-sacs in quiet neighborhoods.
