In Fairfax County, What Happens If You Love The Homeowner?

When you are buying a home, can you get the house that you want and try to treat the seller as you would want to be treated? Photo of 1597 Palm Springs Dr We’re all familiar with the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I try to live by this maxim. How does the Golden Rule apply to someone who is in a somewhat adversarial role? It doesn't mean you should settle for a house. It doesn't mean that you can't expect the best from your agent. But it does mean that: We never want to argue or yell. If there is no possibility for agreement, it's time to move on—without hurt feelings. We investigate before we buy and whenever possible before we even make an offer.
